Poached Pears With CoroWise cholesterol reducers Rice Pudding With CoroWise™ cholesterol reducers
3 Servings

3 Tbsp Cornstarch
¾ cup Sugar
3 cups Kroger® Active Lifestyle™ Fat Free Milk
1 cup Instant Minute-style Rice
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon

Procedure:
1. Assemble ingredients.
2. In a medium saucepan, using a wisk, combine cornstarch and sugar.
3. Slowly, while wisking, add milk to the pan.
4. Add rice.
5. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat.
6. Bring to a boil for about 3 minutes. Do not over boil.
7. Remove from heat.
8. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon. Cover and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
9. Serve warm or chilled, garnish with raisins, dried cranberries or toasted nuts.
